Responsibilities: Welcome and politely attend to customers. Take food and beverage orders accurately. Serve food, drinks and other orders promptly and professionally. Explain menu items, prices and available promotions to customers. Check on customers during their stay and respond to their needs. Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs and the service area. Prepare and reset tables before and after customers. Present bills accurately and handle customer payments according to company procedures. Report customer complaints, damaged items or service problems to the supervisor. Coordinate with the kitchen, bar and other staff to ensure smooth service. Monitor customer satisfaction and provide courteous assistance. Maintain proper personal hygiene, grooming and professional appearance. Follow Mapenzi Lounge rules, health and safety standards. Assist with special events, busy nights and other duties assigned by management.
Minimum Experience: less than 1 year

Requirements and Skills: Previous experience as a waitress, waiter, restaurant attendant or similar role is an advantage. Good communication and customer-service skills. Must be polite, presentable, trustworthy and hardworking. Ability to work under pressure during busy periods. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Basic numeracy and ability to understand menu prices and bills. Ability to work well as part of a team.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: Primary Leaving Education, Uganda Certificate of Education or the equivalent
