1-3 Month Male Purebred Exotic Kitten

1-3 Month Male Purebred Exotic Kitten Highlights

• Exotic Shorthair Temperament: Exotic Shorthairs are known for their sweet, gentle, and affectionate nature. They are typically calm and quiet, making them well-suited for apartment living.
• Low-Maintenance Coat: Their short, dense coat requires minimal grooming compared to their Persian ancestors. Weekly brushing is usually sufficient to keep their fur in good condition.
• Playful and Affectionate: Despite their calm demeanor, Exotic Shorthairs enjoy playtime and are very affectionate with their families. They often seek out human companionship.
• Good with Families: Their placid and loving nature makes them excellent companions for families, including those with children and other pets. They tend to be patient and adaptable.
• Lifespan and Size: Exotic Shorthairs typically live for 12 to 15 years. They are medium-sized cats, weighing between 8 to 15 pounds, with a sturdy, cobby body.
• Potential Health Considerations: Like their Persian relatives, Exotics can be prone to certain health issues such as polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and brachycephalic-related breathing problems due to their flat faces. Responsible breeding practices aim to screen for these conditions.
