Brand New Hay Baler Complete Set with Diesel Engine Generator Highlights
- Versatile Bale Types: Hay balers can produce various bale types, including round bales and square bales. The choice of bale type often depends on storage capabilities and the intended use of the hay.
- Optimal Forage Conditions: For best results, hay should be baled when it has reached optimal moisture content, typically between 15-20% for dry hay. This ensures proper preservation and minimizes spoilage.
- Seasonality of Operation: Hay baling is a seasonal activity, primarily occurring after the hay crop has been cut and dried. The timing is crucial to capture the highest nutritional value.
- Yield and Density Control: Modern balers offer adjustable settings for bale density and size. This allows farmers to customize bales for easier handling, transport, and storage efficiency.
- Engine Power Considerations: The power of the engine is a key factor in baler performance, especially in dense or wet crops. Sufficient horsepower ensures consistent operation and prevents stalling.
